Lock your cars, remove your valuables, don’t leave your purse on the shopping trolley, don’t leave the car keys in the ignition and the door unlocked (yes it happens), don’t leave you phone on the charger at parties, do not assault/intimidate your partner, don’t unwrap the Christmas presents and leave the boxes outside for the crooks to see what you got, don’t drink too much and don’t argue when you are asked to leave a licensed premises.
Do have a merry Christmas; do enjoy your time with family and friends. Merry Christmas.
P.S. Fourteen more sleeps to go until you can read “On the Beat” again.
