The students not only donated various goods for the school’s yearly St Vincent de Paul Society Christmas hamper appeal but also came back to school during a hot day last week to help pack the hampers.
The students, in years 7 to 11, helped pack 54 Christmas hampers which will be delivered to local family around the Shoalhaven.
Gifts and non-perishable foods were packed into each of the hampers.
This year, unlike previous years, each of the student groups were given specific presents they had to collect.
Students, for example, were asked to get presents for a family with two children under five-years-of age.
The students, their families and staff at the school all donated to the cause, while Isons Hardware at South Nowra donated the hamper baskets.
