South Coast trio Dos Enos, six piece band Saskwatch and Sydney-based Lime Cordiale will perform at Boyd Education Centre, Riversdale on Saturday, January 13.
The afternoon of summer entertainment will kick off from 2.30pm and continue until 8.30pm.
After meeting at a Jasper’s Brush party on New Year’s Eve four years ago, local band Dos Enos is renowned for “bringing the party”.
The three piece band is made up of Joey Winkler from Gerringong, former Nowra local and now Wollongong resident Matt Unwin and Anastasi Kotorus from Thirroul.
With Matt on the guitar and taking care of the production side of things, Joey as the singer and drummer and Anastasi on the bass, the band’s style has been compared to everything from The Doors to newer band, English indie rock group Foals.
“It’s what you call psychedelic rock n roll,” Joey said.
“We like to bring to bring the party and we’re looking forward to playing at Riversdale – we just enjoy putting new tunes out there and seeing how people respond to them.
“For us, it’s all about putting a product out there that’s all us from start to finish.”
The band’s unique name is inspired by Enos, the second chimp to be launched into outer space by NASA.
The intrepid traveller completed two orbits of the world on separate occasions.
Saskwatch and Lime Cordiale will also join Dos Enos at Riversdale.
Saskwatch’s signature bright, upbeat funk music has earned them a reputation as one of Melbourne’s most electrifying live acts.
This six piece band will set the feel good mood as dusk approaches. Their album 'Manual Override' was released in August 2017.
Lime Cordiale describe their style as ‘a unique blend of rock, pop, soul and beyond’.
The result is layered, upbeat sensational tunes that are colourful and catchy.
Lime Cordiale's debut album ‘Permanent Vacation’ was released in September and they have been selling out concerts to enthusiastic audiences across the country.
Pack the picnic blanket and get ready to relax by the water or hit the dance floor.
Fresh, delicious food will be available from the South Coast’s finest local caterers plus Hyper Hyper coffee and a licensed bar. No BYO alcohol.
