A SECOND man has been charged in relation to an armed robbery, car-jackings and police pursuits in Huskisson on Tuesday.

On Saturday, December 16, police arrested a 29-year-old on Lindesay Street, Campbelltown.
He was taken to Campbelltown Police Station and charged with numerous offences, including; aggravated break, enter and steal (x2); take and drive conveyance (x2); robbery whilst armed with dangerous weapon; aggravated assault with intent to take and drive in company (x2); destroy property in company by fire; use Weapon to avoid apprehension; steal motor vehicle; carried in conveyance (x2); and outstanding warrants.
The man was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Bail Court Sunday, December 17, 2017.
The charges relate to a crime spree in the Huskisson area on Tuesday December 12.
Just before 5pm Shoalhaven police attended a jewellery store in Owen Street, Huskisson, following reports it had been robbed.
Officers were told three men armed with firearms assaulted the store owner and stole cash and jewellery before escaping in an alleged stolen car. The car was located nearby a short time later.
It is then alleged the men car-jacked two cars, with a woman being injured during one of the incidents.
Police pursued a car on Jervis Bay Road however the pursuit was terminated due to the manner of driving.
The car was later found at Tomerong as the three armed men exited the vehicle and fled into bushland.
A major search of the surrounding area, involved local police, the State Protection Support Unit, Tactical Operations Unit, Dog Unit, Police Rescue and other resources.
About 12.45am on Wednesday December 13, police located and tried to stop a vehicle, pursuing the car to Nowra where the men again fled on foot.
Later that day police charged a 37-year-old man in relation to the incident. He remains before the courts and is next due to appear at Central Local Court on Thursday February 8, 2018.
Officers are continuing to search for a third man and are asking anyone with information about their whereabouts to come forward.
