Despite a number of leads, Australian Federal Police continue to ask for the public’s help to identify a man involved in an incident in Jervis Bay on Wednesday, November 15.

About 6pm, a 13-year-old girl was approached by a man on a footpath in the parkland in the area of Chambers Street, Jervis Bay Village.
The man took hold of the girl’s arm briefly before she fled the area.
An AFP spokesperson said Jervis Bay police had received a number of referrals through Crime Stoppers and from the local community, which had been investigated, however a person of interest had not been identified.
“Checks with other police agencies have failed to locate any similar offences in the surrounding area,” the spokesperson said.
“The investigation is ongoing and police continue to seek assistance from the public to identify the offender.”
The man is described as being approximately 190cm tall, aged in his 30s with a tanned complexion and dark hair. He was wearing a white singlet and blue underpants.
AFP officers have issued a composite image of the offender.
