A temporary Summer Shuttle Bus will operate from Monday, December 18 to Friday, January 5.
The bus will help all residents and visitors to easily move around the Bay and Basin for a gold coin donation.
Shoalhaven Mayor Amanda Findley said the ability to move around Shoalhaven for personal or business reasons is essential in creating a vibrate and connected community.
“Improving our public transport links around the Shoalhaven is an important step for young people of our community, those without cars or visitors of all ages,” Clr Findley said.
“The Summer Bus is supported through Transport NSW Government grant funding and in partnership with Bay and Basin Community Resource Centre, Vincentia High School, Kennedy’s Bus and Coach and Shoalhaven Swim and Fitness.”
The Bay and Basin Summer Shuttle Bus will be in operation from 9.45am to 2.15pm.
The route includes Basin View Shops, St Georges Basin Shops, Sanctuary Point Shops, Old Erowal Bay, Vincentia Marketplace, Bay and Basin Leisure Centre, Vincentia Shops, Owen St Bus Stop.
The gold coin contribution made on the Summer Shuttle Bus will be donated back to the Bay and Basin Youth Service to support programs.
