A 12-player squad has been selected to represent NSW in the upcoming National Indigenous Cricket Championships (NICC) at Alice Springs in February.

Included in this squad is West Cambewarra’s Naomi Woods, who is fresh off winning the under 18s 50-over national title with ACT/NSW Country in Canberra.
With an average of only 19, the NSW squad will be one of the youngest it has ever fielded at the NICC.
In 2017, NSW went undefeated throughout the tournament before defeating Queensland by five runs in the final.
NSW will play four games in order to qualify for the semi finals and final which are to be played on February 11 and 12.
Julie Muir will captain the side again this year with NSW aiming to win its 11th straight NICC title.
The action gets underway on February 7 with NSW taking on Western Australia at Jim McConville Park.
