Ulladulla United’s Drew Ramsden, Berry-Shoalhaven Heads’ Alec Dobson and Batemans Bay’s Lachlan Malcom are just three of the eight Southern Zone athletes invited to Kingston Oval, ACT.
The five other Southern Zone juniors invited to attend are Will Watson, Isaac Kay, Cooper Harrison, Mitchell Constantinuo and Isaac Laughton.
These athletes will compete against nine ACT and eight Illawarra athletes for spots in the final squad.
The nine ACT players are Will Axelby, James Day, Jaskaran Singh, Joe Slater, Tim Robinson, Jack Taylor, Blake Faunce, Archie Blaney and Jack Stokes, while the eight from Illawarra are Joel Nolan, Mason Broadhead, Callum Milsom, Tom Guistiniani, Ollie Needham, Jack Yates, Thomas Williams and Noah King.
