Opener Huard smashed 115 runs from 103 balls, while Justin Weller (57) and Lachlan Lamont (52) scored half centuries, as Norths posted 8/265 from their 45 overs.
Chris McCarron (1/14), Nathan Thomas (1/27), Glenn Brandon (1/38), Blygh Herron (1/41) and Daniel Troy (1/45) all claimed one wicket for the Magpies.
In reply, Berry looked on track to chase down the total, thanks to strong innings’ from Nathan Thomas (52), Dale Lovatt (39), Lloyd Herron (37) and Glenn Brandon (32).
But their tail collapsed in the final few overs, to see Berry finish at 9/235 from their 45 overs.
Spinner Hugh Gillen was the star with the white ball, claiming 4/54, while Lachlan Lamont (2/35) and Hayden Strand (2/45) finished with a pair of scalps.
