Mr Milburn will take on a new role as the general manager of Kempsey Shire Council.
“I have really enjoyed my time at Shoalhaven City Council, it has been an exciting challenge, with a range of diverse work and interesting projects,” Mr Milburn said.
“Being part of the changes that have happened in this organisation over the last few years has been particularly rewarding, including the ongoing technological improvements, cultural changes and continuous improvements in how we deliver services to our community.
“Being able to leave Council in a more financially sustainable position is also rewarding.
“Shoalhaven City Council has been a great place to work with hard working and dedicated staff.
“The staff have a genuine commitment to work for the local area and a passion for the community.”

“It is such a beautiful place to be and to enjoy.
“We have loved living here and have particularly enjoyed the amazing natural environment, including the best beaches in NSW.
““I am looking forward to this new challenge and new role.
“There are several changes occurring at Kempsey Council and am looking forward to leading the organisation through this change.
“I am also looking forward to moving closer to my family who live in Port Macquarie.
“It has been an amazing journey and I have enjoyed my time here.
“The hardest thing to leave will be the people, I have made so many wonderful friends here and I am sure that I will come back to visit and enjoy the beautiful place that is Shoalhaven.”
