Katrina Ann Berkley, 48, was charged just after midnight on October 29 this year at Ramsgate in Sydney.
Court papers said her vehicle pulled out from the side of the kerb and nearly collided with a car.
Police attended and breath tested Berkley, who returned a positive result and later a reading of 0.236.
Magistrate Gabriel Fleming fined Berkley $2000, sentenced her to a 12-month suspended jail term and disqualified her from driving for seven months. She also has to have an interlock device fitter to her car for two years.
