THE Culburra Cricket Club have this week withdrawn from the Shoalhaven District Cricket Association third grade competition.

The club has faced a number of problems this season, including both financial and behavioural issues – which has led to the club making this decision.

This leaves eight teams in third grade, meaning there will be two byes each week in the competition.

There will be the normal scheduled byes, plus the byes created by Culburra’s withdrawal – which will see teams receive split points instead.
