All three second grade cricket matches abandoned

MOTHER nature wasn’t kind to the three lower grades of the SDCA, with all 11 matches ending in draws.

In second second, the match between Batemans Bay and Nowra didn’t see any play, while the other two matches – Shoalhaven Ex-Servicemens and Berry-Shoalhaven Heads and North Nowra-Cambewarra and Bomaderry, started but were eventually abandoned.

Ex-Servos ended at 1/37 with Paul Meakins 17 not out and Ryan Hennessy taking 1/10, while Bomaderry were 1/10 when play was halted, with Graham Lowbridge taking the wicket.

In third grade, Bomaderry ended at 2/53 against Basin and Sussex Inlet made 1/40 against Ex-Servos, while Ulladulla and Nowra and Bay and Berry saw no action at all.

In fourth grade, Basin were 4/22 against Norths, Berry 1/53 against Ex-Servos, Bomaderry 0/68 against Nowra and Sussex 1/53 against Ulladulla, when played was halted due to rain.
