It’s set to be a contemporary art explosion as Planet Nowra gets underway this week.

Planet Nowra will be held from December 8-9 in the Manse Gardens of St Andrews Presbyterian Church.

One performance will bring local Koori rappers together with the Shoalhaven Stage Band. The group will impress on Friday night.

Storytelling with students from North Nowra Public School and Terara Public School will read their own stories in the St Andrews Church Hall from 6.30pm on December 8.

Artworks and projections in the garden and surrounding walls will light up from 7pm to 9.30pm.

‘Planetary Sessions: New Music, River Songs’ will impress from 8.30pm to 10.30pm.

The fun will continue on Saturday with a daytime installation in the garden from 12pm and projections on the walls from 6.30pm to 9.30pm.

Planet Nowra is an alcohol-free event and entry is free.
