The staff from the Sanctuary Point Branch of the Bendigo Bank and St Georges Basin Country Club think it’s good cause to support because they are staging a fundraising golf day to support the ward.

Their charity golf day and auction will be held on Friday December 15 at the St Georges Basin Country Club and people are encouraged to support this event.

It will be a four person ambrose and tee off is at 12pm for a shotgun start.

Cost is $160 per team of four or $40 per individual - there is no need to enter a full team.

All money raised from the entry fee and auction will go straight to the the hospital.

Entry fee covers green fees, 18 rounds of golf, barbecue, beverages and prizes.

Team and individual prizes are on offer with prizes for nearest to the pin, longest drive and more.

Players are encouraged to stay afterwards and attended the auction from 5pm at the club bid for the prizes which would be perfect for Christmas.

Various raffles will also be held during the day.

The organisers hope to raise over $15 000.
