Acting on reports on the way a Mini sedan was being driven north on the Princes Highway at South Nowra a highway vehicle stopped the car around 6.45am.
The female driver was subjected to a roadside breath test which proved positive.
The 44-year-old Nowra woman was arrested and taken to Nowra Police Station where she underwent a breath analysis, which returned a reading of 0.146.
