Police have been left dumbfounded after a man charged with a mid range drink driving offence at Sanctuary Point was found with five people in the car and two more in the boot.

The 23-year-old man was stopped by police at Sanctuary Point in the early hours of Saturday (November 18) morning.
Police patrolling in an unmarked vehicle in the area as part of Operation Henson, targeting dangerous drivers in the Bay and Basin area, observed a red Ford Laser sedan driving in an allegedly dangerous manner in The Park Drive around 12.40am.
Police stopped the vehicle and found five people in the car, with a check of the boot revealing two more unrestrained passengers.
A safety check of the car found both front tyres were torn down the tread wear indicator.
The driver was subject to a roadside breath test, which proved positive.
The 23-year-old was placed under arrest and taken to Huskisson Police Station, where he returned a breath analysis reading of 0.106.
His driver's license was suspended on the spot.
The man was charged with a middle range drink driving offence, driving in a manner dangerous and driving with two unrestrained passengers.
He will appear before Nowra Local Court on December 11.
