The pair announced their engagement in October last year.
The wedding, a small, private ceremony, according to 7 news, came hours after the 'yes' vote was delivered with 61.6 per cent of the Australian public voting in favour of changing the legal definition of marriage.
Folau, 28, who stepped away from Wallabies commitments for the spring tour of Europe, has been outspoken in his opposition to same-sex marriage.
In September this year he tweeted that he would not be voting in support of the change, attracting some backlash from the public.
The ARU meanwhile joined Cricket Australia, the Football Federation Australia and the NRL in supporting the 'yes' campaign.
Folau re-affirmed his views in a press conference last month.
"I stand alongside what I said on that time and I've left it there. I stay true to myself and what I believe in," he said.
"I thought about all the things that could happen afterwards, and that's fine for me, I respect everyone and everyone's opinions which is all good."
The wedding caps off a big year for Folau. Earlier this month he was nominated for World Rugby's Men's Player of the Year award – an award no Australian has ever won before.
