The annual St Vincent de Paul Society’s Jim da Silva Farm Market Day will be held this Saturday, November 25.

A full day is planned for the event including stalls, activities, live music, wood fired pizzas, smoked meats, fresh produce, homemade goods, plants, handmade furniture, locally made arts and crafts, homemade jams, cupcakes as well as soy candles and wax.
Items made by the farm’s Vietnam Vet’s and Community Men’s Shed will also be on sale.
Copies of champion Shoalhaven cook Voni Muller’s book, My Favourite Recipes, now into its third print run having raised $12,000 for the farm will also be available.
Former NRL player Joe Williams will be a keynote speaker at the event talking about men’s health, mental health and a number of other topics.
Jim Da Silva Farm is an accommodation service providing medium term transitional accommodation for men aged 25 years and over with a mental illness who may be experiencing homelessness.
The aim of the market day is to raise much-needed funds to allow the service to continue to support these men.
The market day will be held at Jim da Silva Farm, 38 Old Bamarang Road, Mundamia (West Nowra) from 10am.
