Little Tilly is just eight weeks old and hasn't had a very good start to life.
When she was rescued she was very skinny and suffered two seizures which the vet thinks was caused by her malnutrition.
She is a little fighter though and is recovering well and hasn't had any more seizures since.
Tilly has one more strike against her though. Her eyesight has also been affected by her rough start.
It’s not known to what degree they are affected yet, however it appears to have reduced vision in both her eyes.
It doesn't slow her down though as she is a bundle of energy
Tilly is not quite old enough to be adopted just yet but AWL is looking for someone that is willing to take on this sweet little girl when she is.
If you think you have what it takes call 0429 429 885 to discuss further.
Tilly will be desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and vet checked before adoption.
AWL will also be hosting a microchipping and discount desexing day this Saturday, November 25 at the Uniting Church Hall in Bomaderry from 10.30am to 1.30pm.
Free microchipping will be provided by the RSPCA Shoalhaven. Vouchers for reduced desexing will be available and entitles to voucher holder to vet fees of only $100 per dog and $50 per cat.
You must be a current holder of a pension or health care card to quality for discount vouchers and vouchers are only valid at participating vets.
Desexing vouchers will only be issued for microchipped animals. Please bring your pet along on the day to confirm its microchip status. All dogs must be on leads and cats in the cages.
Donations of dog and cat beds, dried cat and dog food, cat blankets, cat cages and toys and treats for Christmas will also gratefully be accepted on the day.
