A 35-year-old man who threatened staff at Shoalhaven District Hospital with a knife will appear in Nowra Local Court on Monday.

About 5.50am on Saturday (November 18) police were called to the Shoalhaven District Hospital after staff advised police a male had entered the complex with a knife and was yelling at staff and patients.
Police found the 35-year-old man, who had a 20cm butter knife in his possession, and was banging on sections of glass around the ambulance bay.
The man was arrested by police and the knife removed.
He was taken to Nowra Police Station and charged with various offences including intimidation, custody of a knife and offensive conduct.
The man was bail refused by police and appeared at Nowra Local Court on Saturday morning.
He was again refused bail and will face Nowra Local Court on Monday (November 20).
