There were many groups of young men enjoying the day with their mates, out sampling the beer together, and plenty of families there too.
The whole field smelled like roast pork, and the only question was, where to buy it from – people were spoiled with choice.
The live music kept the crowd entertained while they sat down and ate.
The pig races were a highlight, punters bet money on six piglets that ran around the track, and the winner took home the pool of cash.
It rained a bit on Saturday, and was wet underfoot, and there were plenty of people embracing the wet weather, wearing gumboots.
The festival continues tomorrow.
