Their Australiana-themed Christmas party was held at the St Georges Basin Country Club and a great time was had by all on Friday.
The ladies sang Christmas songs, told jokes and had lunch together.
They accessorised with Christmas earrings and Aussie swagman’s hats.
Most importantly, the ladies enjoyed the camaraderie.
“I look forward to the Christmas party every year,” Ethel Medcalf said.
“It’s absolutely beautiful, I have all these lovely friends, and they absolutely give you great support.”
A friend of Ethel’s chimed in, and said since her husband died nine years ago, Ethel and the girls have provided a loving support network.
