South Coast MP Shelley Hancock met with Mr Constance earlier in the week, who committed to seeing how the NSW Government will be able to assist in providing additional and improved transport services.
Last month, Shoalhaven Councillor John Levett told a youth unemployment forum that a regular bus service along the Princes Highway could improve the prospects of job seekers in Jervis Bay, St Georges Basin, Sussex Inlet and Bendalong.
Mrs Hancock forwarded the idea to Mr Constance, and asked him to consider extending the 737 Kiama to Bomaderry bus service introduced in July.
Mrs Hancock asked the Minister to review the Shoalhaven Integrated Transport Strategy, working with Shoalhaven City Council to see what can be implemented to improve access to transport services, as well as looking into the possible extension of the 737 bus service and the review of other bus services and routes to ensure they are efficient and effective.
