Alexander Nowlan, 26, did not appear in Nowra Local Court on Thursday facing charges of aggravated robbery, inflicting actual bodily harm, and taking and detaining a person with intent to obtain advantage.
It is alleged around 12.30pm (November 15) Nowlan punched a 63-year-old man in Smiths Lane, Nowra several times as the man was waiting to drop a laptop off for repair.
Police said as the older man fell to the ground, Nowlan allegedly fled with his laptop, wallet, laptop bag and mobile phone and was last seen running towards Stuart Place.
Shortly after Nolan allegedly jumped into the back passenger seat of a Subaru driven by a 59-year-old woman and directed her to drive to East Nowra, where he got out of the car.
Nowra police started investigations into the alleged incidents and arrested Nowlan on Queensborough Street, Nowra around 2.30pm.
Magistrate David Williams refused bail, with Nowlan to reappear in court on January 16.
