The Flame have already unveiled seven members of their squad for the 2018 State League season, including Shoalhaven Heads junior Matthew White and Bomaderry product Darren Jones.
The pair will be joined by Djordje Uzelac, Dion Sterjovski, Martin Thompson, Andrew Bova and Cameron Hanson, who have all penned deals.
White, 25, is a goalkeeper who most recently played for Shoalhaven Heads/Berry, while Jones, 33, played for the Albion Park White Eagles and Cringila Lions in 2017.
Robaard is still finalising deals for several more players, but was satisfied with how the South Coast’s recruitment was going.
“It can be a bit hard for people to jump on-board because of that fear of the unknown but we have had a lot of players come over,” he said.
“We still are trialling a few players and talking to a few, but we are getting closer to a full squad.
“We have a solid base now as well.”
Neil Mineef will be the under 20s coach while Jones will be the under 18s coach.
