After winning the toss and batting, the visitors posted 161 – led by Jake Westley (42) and Daniel Lea (40), with Jarrod Horton taking 3/20 for Nowra.
In reply, the hosts passed the total (7/165) with three wickets in hands, thanks to Lachlan Butfield (44) and Lachlan Adlington (42).
Dale Jarrett took 2/16 for Sussex in the loss.
One of the two sides to win three games already are Bomaderry, who easily accounted for Culburra at the Bomaderry Sporting Complex.
The hosts sent Culburra in, who were dismissed for 111, with Charles Gardner (18) top-scoring.
Nathan Wallace, Matt Glyde and Ethan Adlington took two wickets for the Tigers.
In reply, Jackson Anderson’s 28 paced the hosts, who passed the total 5/112 in the 22nd over.
The other side to record its third win on Saturday was Bay and Basin, who cruised past Batemans Bay.
Tobias Hanger’s 75 steered Basin to 6/216, despite Meljoy Dcunha’s 3/27.
In reply, three wickets from James Cohen and two from duo Joshua Rickwood and Dave Foley restricted Bay to 100 in their innings, with Farley Prior top-scoring with 18.
At Zealand Oval, Shoalhaven Ex-Servicemens held on to defeat Berry-Shoalhaven Heads.
Kane Armstrong’s 33 saw the hosts post 104, with John Guscott taking 3/20 with the cherry.
But 38 from Alec Cooper saw Ex-Servos home (7/105) with three wickets to spare, despite three wickets from Charlie Howard.
