The New South Wales author, Emeritus Professor and human rights activist is the founder of the Sydney Peace Foundation and Emeritus Professor at the Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of Sydney in Australia.
The author of many books on social justice issues and several anthologies of poetry, he has been described as one of the most humane voices of Australia's generation, a writer always committed to passionately illuminating questions about social justice and to crafting answers to the biggest question of all - what it means to be human.
A Lover's Country is a unique human rights story of love and loyalty, courage, cowardice and intrigue, based on actual events.
Stuart will share his story from 5:30 pm to 7pm at Nowra Library on Wednesday, November 8.
