A perfect morning greeted the crowds lining the street to cheer the floats through the parade on Saturday for the Shoalhaven River Festival.

A fantastic community display of local clubs, community groups and businesses paraded through the streets on floats and vehicles.
Parade judge Gilmore MP Ann Sudmalis focused on colour and creativity of the floats, and was particularly impressed with Albatross Musical Theatre Group’s float.
And the theatre group won the grand prize, judged as the best float, complete with people in elaborate ocean-themed costumes and bubbles.
The Shoalhaven Superheroes won most popular float, a crowd favourite.
The Superheroes spent the day fundraising for a Ronald McDonald House room to be placed in Shoalhaven Hospital.
A full weekend of events was planned for the river precinct and this year the popular pontoons on the south eastern side of the bridge will be staying.
The region's best local talent including local bands, singers and dancers were on stage to entertain the crowd.
Local artists, fantastic art installations and creative activities were available for the whole family.
A street of markets offered handmade ceramics, art, candles, jewellery, handbags, photography, local food and more.
