Organiser Raul Arregui decided to put the parade on from Bottlerocket Bar and the Game Cave for eats and drinks before dragging their way up town to the Roxy Cinema to watch Dawn of the Dead.
“It’s been great, we’ve had a wonderful night. We hope to do it again next year. The costumes and make up were incredible,” he said.
Want to take a ride on a ghost train this weekend?
The Ghost Train runs from 4pm – 10pm and the Mini Monster Express runs from 4pm to 7pm at the Illawarra Light Railway Museum.
It’s run by museum volunteers who transform the grounds, including the historical station, into a special place for ghouls, goblins witches, war locks and monsters.
Train rides cost $10 for kids/concessions and $15 for adults for unlimited rides on both trains. There is a $5 entrance fee for those who enter the park but do not wish to ride the train. Covered footwear is required.
Food is available or BYO picnic!
