Nowra police found the body in Falls Creek about 8.30pm on Sunday October 22.
Police believe the body was that of a 58-year-old woman reported missing from Tomerong on Saturday 21.
Her death is not being treated as suspicious.
A brief will be prepared for the Coroner.
