Kangaroo Valley Vet and Animal Welfare League Shoalhaven branch have joined forces to protect the pets of the valley.
The desexing and microchipping day will be held on Friday, October 27 at the Kangaroo Valley Vets consulting rooms from 10.30am to 1.30pm.
Free microchipping will be provided by the local RSPCA and vouchers for reduced desexing will be available. Vouchers will be for $100 for dops and $50 for cats.
You must be a pension card or health care card holder, and a Kangaroo Valley resident to qualify for discount vouchers.
Discounted desexing voucher recipients who book a desexing appointment on the day will receive free return transport proviedv by the Kangaroo Valley Vets to Berry on the day of their appointment.
Desxing vouchers will only be issued for microchipped animals. Pets must either be brought along to be microchipped on the day or to be scanned to conform their status. All cats and kittens must be in cages.
While this offer is for Kangaroo Valley residents only, AWL Shoalhaven branch will be holding another for Bomaderry region on November 25.
