The event will be held on Friday, October 20 at Parramatta Park (Jaycee Park), East Nowra from 2-6pm.
The event will bring the community together for a fun afternoon, packed with free activities and giveaways for everyone.
“This year is the 10th anniversary of the Shoalhaven Anti-Poverty Committee in its current format,” SAPC Facilitator Judith Reardon said.
“Since 2007, the committee has not only been organising events, such as PIP during Anti-Poverty Week, but also working on making changes locally to reduce the impact of poverty in our region.”
Last year’s event attracted people from local families to those from far and wide, with more than 200 people attending throughout the afternoon.
Cullunghutti will be on hand to help the young ones make a pasta necklace, or enjoy a book in the reading tent.
The Salvation Army will man the barbeque and even have vegetarian options this year.
The Seventh Day Adventist stall will impress with its Spanish doughnuts, while New Future New Hope will give everyone to chance to release some tension with a hammer, nails and wood.
Ultimate Cycles also invites everyone to bring their bike and be shown how to give you bike a much needed service.
If you want to have a stall, there’s still time to register it. For more information or if you wish to have a stall at this year’s event phone Judy Harper on 4428 4900 or 0400 993 092
