A 16-year-old Nowra boy who pleaded guilty to being part of an assault and robbery incident at the Nowra Skate Park in March has been placed on 12 months’ probation.

The teenager pleaded guilty to affray and two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
The youth was part of a group of three men and four teenagers allegedly involved in the assault and robbery of a number of teenagers at the skate park around 6.45pm on March 24.
The boy pleaded guilty to assaulting a boy and a girl at the park.
Two of the teenagers required hospital treatment for minor injuries following the incident.
In Nowra Children’s Court Magistrate David Williams found the teenager guilty without proceeding to a conviction but placed him on 12 months’ probation.
