Shoalhaven road repairs interactive map

THIS week, Shoalhaven Council announced it had attained around $3.5million in funding for road maintenance projects.

Click on the map to find projects that will be conducted by Shoalhaven City Council, and fully funded by the federal and state government.

The announcement follows the state government’s funding pledge of $3 million to fix roads at Currarong, Coolangatta, Gerroa, Bomaderry, Mollymook, North Nowra, and Orient Point.

Funding programs include Safer Local Government Roads, the Australian Government Blackspot Program, NSW Government Aboriginal Communities Program and the Active Transport scheme.

“This injection of funds to assist with roads, pathways and shelters shows that Council is trying hard to apply for funding where possible to ease the burden on the ratepayer,” Shoalhaven mayor Amanda Findley said.

“We are delighted in the amounts and thank the governments for supporting the Shoalhaven.”
