Forty years on from school, Nowra High’s Class of 1977 met to have a look through attendance records, newspaper clippings, and various archives in the library.
The get together was just a warm up for their reunion on Saturday night, a more glamorous and popular affair.
Organiser Glenn Davies, along with Tina and Ainslie Feron, said around 170 people attended, exceeding expectations.
“We thought we’d have about 130 so it was just fantastic,” Glenn said.
“A lot of these people hadn’t see each other in that entire 40 years.”
The event raised $4000 for Cure Cancer Australia.
