Two Shoalhaven groups, Trio 42 and Trilogy, will once again join forces to create tunes and harmonies that show off the beautiful acoustic of the little church on the hill.
Jim Dorrington, Anne Stuart and Vicki McCartney on guitar, cello and flute will join vocal group Trilogy (Joy, Kathy and Robin Sharpe) in a concert on Sunday October 22 at 2.30.
It’s just a short walk up the hill to hear a program of traditional folk songs as well as arrangements from artists including Loreena McKennitt, Annie Lennox and Redgum.
If you don’t have a festival pass, you are still welcome – entry is just $10 at the door.
And if you are a fan of vocal harmonies, you can also catch Trilogy on Saturday at the festival for a sixties singalong in the Pavilion at 5.30.
The full program is available at www.kangaroovalleyfolkfestival.com.au.
