One of the first to jump on board and contact the club was Brett Beverley, of Storage King South Nowra.
Mr Beverley donated $1000 to support the club.
“I’m a Bomaderry boy,” he said “I’ve been involved with Bomaderry Rugby League Club over the years but it doesn't matter, Bomaderry is Bomaderry,” he said.
“When I heard what had happened I wanted to be able to help the club if I could.”
Bomaderry vice-president Clayton Muller said the club had been overwhelmed by the community's support.
“It really is incredible,” he said.
“As a club we have been blown away by the support. We can’t thank everyone enough.
“The fire was heartbreaking. Bomaderry is one of the foundation clubs in Shoalhaven Football.
“For all the people who came before us to make the club what it is, we had to get it back on its feet.”
He said the club had also received $1000 donations from Sanokil Washroom Services, Ray White and Country Motor Company.
“The Shoalhaven Football Association donated $1364.90 which it raised with Gerringong Football Club at the recent finals,” Mr Muller said.
“We have also had donations from Beech Breeze Air Con, Jirgens Civil, even the Bomaderry Junior AFL Club, as well as a host of smaller donations.
“We’ve had individual donations from Matt Kellett, Sue Cuninghame, David Morrison, Didz and Detta, Hayley Aldridge and Margaret Johannsson.
“We can't thank everyone enough.”
The Kiama Football Club donated a set of full-size nets, four pop-up goals, 36 balls, 20 new balls from one of the club's major sponsors Rebel Sports Shellharbour, six new corner flags, marker cones and a pie warmer.
