Stacey Swindale, 28, of Nowra, faces charges of prolonged loss of traction or burnout and high range drink driving.
Court papers said between 12.50am and 1am on August 28, police were patrolling East Street, Nowra following a report of a vehicle doing burnouts.
Police stopped a Holden Commodore sedan in Jervis Street and spoke with the Swindale, who was allegedly driving.
Officers gave her a roadside breath test which proved positive.
She was taken to Nowra Police Station for a breath analysis and returned a reading more than three times the legal limit, 0.158.
She is due to reappear in court on October 23.
