Rain, hail or shine Elton John’s Once In A Lifetime concert will still go ahead on Sunday.

The Bureau of Meteorology predicts Saturday to be windy and mostly sunny with a top of 30 degrees.

Sunday is expected to be cooler with a windy 27 degrees with easing westerly winds – no chance of rain forecast whatsoever.

Don’t worry about a rain poncho or umbrella but a hat and sunscreen could prove handy.

While Australia experienced its hottest winter on record, New South Wales was still warmer than average though it also had its coldest average winter nights since 1997, according to the Bureau.

Nationally it was the ninth driest winter on record.

According to Bureau’s spring outlook, it looks like the season is going to continue to be warmer than average for the north and southeast of the country.

So sunscreen and a hat might be good for Sunday’s Elton John concert at WIN Stadium.
