Kindergarten students hosted an art exhibition for their family and friends on Monday, September 18. 

Teacher Meredith Longfield said encouraging students to explore the world with a “hands-on” was her focus. 

“Some of the most effective means they have for explaining things for themselves are drawing, painting, constructing and clay work,” she said. 

“While using these to create images, they explore feelings and ideas, and through their images they communicate thoughts to others as well as themselves.”
