Gerringong, in what was a commanding effort, swept Illaroo out of the way in Saturday’s preliminary final.
The Breakers beat the Roos 5-nil to book a spot in the Shoalhaven Football Assocation’s grand final against Bomaderry.
The Roos, on Saturday at Ison Park, started well and played a strong controlled brand of football.
However, the Breakers soaked up the pressure and just took control, as suggested by the score.
The Breakers will be now looking for revenge against the Tigers.
The Tigers, just over a week ago, beat the Breakers and the Gerringong players have long memories.
The grand finals will be played this Saturday at Ison Park and in reserve grade Culburra will play Huskisson and in third grade Wreck Bay will also play Huskisson.
