There could be no better proof the months of planning, choreography and sequin-sewing paid off than when the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre’s sell-out crowd, of more than 900 people, cheered for more at the end of Friday night’s show.
It was impossible not to get caught up in the fun of the night.
Illaroo Road Public School deputy principal Bob Lowe said people had been coming to him “in droves saying how wonderful the show was”.
“It was a wonderful evening and it gave every child in the school an opportunity to participate,” he said.
“The looks on the children’s faces, they were over the moon about it and it’s something they will never forget.
“I’d like to say a special thank you to the staff and other helpers. They put in a lot of extra effort and their own time, in particular Alyce Penfold, Julie Anderson and Kyliejean Pearn,” Mr Lowe said.
