Culburra Fishing Club’s third weigh-in for this fishing year on September 3 saw 15 fishos weigh in after a beautiful weekend for a total of 69 fish.

We had eight in deep sea, seven in beach rock and estuary. Four of our fishos were juniors this month. Winners were:
Deep sea: 1st James Paterson, 2nd Werner Roth, 3rd Bob Bell.
Beach rock and estuary: 1st Scott Danvers, 2nd Frank Huzjan, 3rd Arthur Bowles.
Juniors: 1st Olivia Daldy, 2nd Madyline Daldy, 3rd Kaide Bell.
Fish caught this month included flathead, bream, salmon, drummer, ling, leatherjacket, blackfish, garfish and tailor.
