Sunday September 24 is going to be a crazy day for transport around Wollongong with more than 20,000 Elton John fans to descend upon WIN Stadium for his Once In A Lifetime Concert.

Bulli Pass will remain closed during the event, though drivers coming from the M1 Princes Motorway need to take the Memorial Drive exit to get to the city centre.
PARKING
Wollongong Central’s P3 Car Park is the official parking place for ticket holders from 3pm on the day (support act to start at 5:30pm).
P3 car parking spaces will be available for pre-purchase via Ticketmaster. Customers will need to pre-purchase parking to get access to it.
A staff member will open the boom gate for ticket holders. Each customer will then receive a ticket to exit the car park for after the concert.
Find the car park at 200 Crown Street in Wollongong
There are several other undercover car parks (as shown on the map) but not many.
As the concert is a Sunday most street parking will be free, though you may need to get your park early to save walking 10km to the venue.

SHUTTLE BUS
Patrons can access the Elton Shuttle Bus operating between Wollongong Station, Wollongong Central P3 and the arts precinct at Corrimal St and Burelli St, adjacent WIN Stadium. Return services will operate post show.
ROADS INFORMATION
The NSW Transport Management Centre has advised fans to expect delays and try to catch public transport where possible while parking will also be in high demand.
The expect traffic to be heavy around WIN Stadium including Crown Street, Burelli Street and Corrimal Street, while motorists should be extra careful for pedestrians.
DROP-OFF/PICK-UP POINTS
A drop off zone will be in operation on Burelli Street between Harbour and Corrimal Streets. Access to this area of the precinct at the conclusion of the event may be limited, and patrons are asked to be patient.
TAXIS
A taxi rank is located across the road from WIN Stadium outside the Steelers Club on Burelli Street. There is also an additional taxi rank located adjacent to WIN Entertainment Centre on the corner of Crown & Harbour Streets
ROAD CLOSURES
Local residents have already been advised multiple semi-trailers will be accessing the stadium via the Southern Stand before and after the event to build the stage then load it out.
Stop/Slow traffic control will be in place on Harbour Street (between Bank and Stewart Street) from Tuesday September 19 to Saturday September 22 again on Monday September 25 and Tuesday September 26.
On Sunday September 24 Harbour Street will be closed between Stewart and Crown Streets from 3pm to 10pm.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
The closest train station to WIN Stadium on Harbour Street is Wollongong – a 16 minute walk via Burelli Street or 18 minute walk via the Crown Street Mall.
Wollongong runs on the South Coast train line.
There are two bus stops located in close proximity the venue – one on Burelli Street and one on Crown Street.
