A man has been charged after allegedly taking a charity tin in Nowra last Thursday.

About 9.40pm on Thursday, August 25, police will allege a man entered a chemist on Junction Street, Nowra and stole a tin used to collect money for a local charity.
Police started an investigation into the theft, which included reviewing CCTV footage.
On Friday, August 25 police attended an address in Bomaderry and spoke with a 44-year-old man.
Police will allege the man handed them an opened charity tin and also a amount of coins.
The man was issued with court attendance notice for stealing and intentionally damaging property. He is due to appear before Nowra Local Court on Monday, October 9.
