With demolition of previous businesses located at the site and earthworks complete, walls of the new complex and the petrol station fuel canopy have quickly been put in place at the new complex planned for the intersection of the highway and Plunkett Street.
Also bordered by Haigh Avenue the proposal by North Sydney company, RG Property Ten Pty Ltd includes the service station, convenience store, McDonald’s restaurant, car parking, signage and associated works.
The McDonald’s outlet will have drive through facilities and on site seating for 36 patrons, as well as 69 car parks, including one disabled space, two long vehicles/trailers spaces and five motorbike spaces.
The service station will feature four bowsers, a fuel canopy and a 200 square metre convenience store as well as loading/service area.
It is proposed the service station and McDonald’s would both have a 24-hour trading hours.
