Sheila Griffin, 58, pleaded guilty to high-range drink driving in Nowra Local Court on Friday.
Court papers said the woman was driving a Ford Festiva on Scenic Drive, Nowra, near the Nowra pool complex, around 3.30pm on June 14 when it collided with the front of the ambulance utility.
No one was injured in the accident but police were called to the scene.
Griffin was subjected to a roadside breath test and returned a positive reading.
A breath analysis at the Nowra Police Station returned a reading of 0.216.
She allegedly told police she had consumed four wines in the previous two hours and hadn’t eaten any food.
She will be sentenced on August 28.
