U13s Culburra vs Collegians: The U13s faced off this week against Collegians at Crooky Oval. The boys went out hard with plenty of strong runs & some of the best tackling seen all year, winning the game 34-22.

Sam Colgate was on fire scoring 4 tries, with his last a runaway from the opposition half with 20 seconds left on the clock. He also converted 3 goals. Dylan Burns had a blinder of a game with 2 tries, 1 goal conversion and a strong attack and defence game, though the biggest cheers of the day came when hard running forward Max Vukelic converted the last goal for the game and was near squashed by his ecstatic team mates. Our best players were Corey Kelly, Jack Lonesborough, Dylan Burns, Max Vukelic and Sam Colgate.

U15s Culburra vs Nowra: Culburra made the short away trip to Bomaderry this week on a wild windy Saturday. With the season all but over for the Swamp Rats they played with grit and determination. It would be Kruize Herewini’s first game starting left centre, scored the opening try for Culburra. Jayden Brody crossed not long after. Cameron Haydock also adding to his tally before the half time break.

Bomaderry crossed for their only try of the match early in the second half and were unable to add the extras. Prop forward Khody Nicholson took control of the game and scored his first try for the season. Then team favourite Zac Grossetti scored out wide from some magic lead up work from Jarrad Maynard who unselfishly threw the perfect pass to Grossetti when he could of easily scored himself.

A final try to Keeda Meehan who was in blinding form for the Dolphins saw the game shut out. It may not have been one of the team’s better games but the Dolphins never sat die attitude was again very evident. Tries: Keeda Meehan, Zac Grossetti, Jayden Brody, Kruise Herewini, Cameron Haydock & Khody Nicholson.  Goals: Kaleb Stewart 5/6.

U16s Culburra vs Collegians: The under 16s visited JJ Kelly Park this week.  It was a hard fought game in the wind but the Dolphins won 30-18.

U10s Culburra vs Albion Park White: The Under 10’s played Albion Park White for the right to play in the grand final. The boys and Zara were defeated 10-8 in what was a fantastic match to watch. Man of the match was awarded to Jayson Cooper who was outstanding in defence all day. Tries to Ben Walmsley & Noah Watson on the day. The under 10’s now play Albion Park Maroon on Saturday at Sussex Inlet in another chance to make the grand final

Tries went to: Max Feast, Jared Jankovic, Ky Lukas x2 and Zack Oswald x2, Conversions made by Taylor Haydock 3/6
