There were so many types of camellias there, visitors were able to explore three rooms of displays.
However, regular entrant and Berry local Patricia Vassallo told the South Coast Register previous displays were far more impressive.
“It’s very sad, this year there appears to be far less flowers,” she said.
“I don’t know if it’s low rainfall or the wind, people may have had trouble growing them.”
Mrs Vassallo has been entering the competition for 20 years, and proudly won “most outstanding” and “most successful” awards in the section she entered on Saturday.
